An intense aromatic display of lifted gooseberry, kaffir lime, and freshly cut pineapple with subtle hints of crushed lemongrass, and just-snapped snow pea in the background. The mouth-watering palate is driven by tropical fruit characters which dance in step with an extreme linear acidity that keeps all of those heady flavors in balance, wrapped tightly together on a long and fine finish.

90 pts - JamesSuckling.com: “A style that threads fragrantly herbal and grassy Sauvignon notes with more citrusfocused fruit, as well as light white peaches. The palate is fine, crisp and lively with a little fleshy
push through the middle.”
90 pts - Halliday Wine Companion: “An intensely varietal bouquet, predominantly in the gooseberry/snowpea spectrum, but with elements of ripe tropical fruit in the background. A small percentage was fermented in aged French oak which has contributed to the mouthfeel, as does a touch of sweetness. It's perhaps not as zippy through the palate as some releases, but it's fresh and flavoursome.”
