Lovely dark, savory Shiraz fruits on the nose. Cocoa, blackberry, cedar, spice and roast meats. The palate has incredible depth but at the same time has a lovely elegance driven by a fine core of graphite like tannins and a deliciously mouthwatering acidity. Serious Shiraz but not of the sweet, jammy kind. Complex, dark, savory, powerful yet elegant. A wine that will continue to reward careful cellaring and is sure to seduce even the most sophisticated of wine palates.

90 pts - Robert Parker Wine Advocate: “A co-fermented blend of Shiraz with a bit of Roussanne, d'Arenberg's 2015 The Wild Pixie Shiraz features scents of blueberries and cherries on the nose. It's a medium to full-bodied wine on the structured palate, with a fine coating of dusty tannins and red fruit flavors that perk up the finish.”
89 pts - Halliday Wine Companion: “Incredibly deep color; opulent black fruits and lots of licorice, dark chocolate not failing
to join in…”
