Completely dry as usual, with the normal voluminous citric nose of lemon and lime, even lemon meringue pie this time, very fragrant with pure, refreshing acidity in abundance and an extremely long finish.

94 pts/Editors' Choice - Wine Enthusiast: "From a small, cool-climate region north of Melbourne, this burnished gold-hued wine opens in aromas of lemon oil and candied ginger alongside melted butter, toffee, mushroom and mineral streaks. The palate is dry and rich but not unctuous thanks to lively acidity and a gingery bite. The finish is seemingly endless."
94 pts - Halliday Wine Companion: "This is often the finest wine from this estate, albeit, the unsung hero. Lanolin, quince, grapefruit, yellow plum, fennel and lemon drop shimmer. This is as reliant on its waxy grip for focus and poise, as it is on its palpably natural acidity. A delicious, understated riesling. Dry. Germanic. Relaxed."
89 pts - Robert Parker Wine Advocate: "Darker in hue than most Australian Rieslings (and also the rare specimen under cork), the 2018 Georgia's Paddock Riesling offers up scents of Earl Grey tea (bergamot) and hints of peach and crushed stone. It's medium-bodied and streamlined on the palate, with ample weight and concentration but not much in the way of extra flesh, finishing tart and citrusy."
88 pts - Wine Spectator: "Honeyed notes of peach and pear are spicy and balanced by juicy acidity in this medium-bodied white, with spice and floral details on the finish."
