Almost coy and somewhat bashful to begin with, aromas of white peach and nectarine slowly emerge from the glass, with an overlay of cashew, apple strudel and shortbread complexity adding to the interest as the intensity builds with time. Generous and understated as always, the palate continues in the same theme, managing to balance purity, finesse and stunning clarity within a powerful, concentrated framework, where everything stands in perfect proportion.

95 pts - Halliday Wine Companion: “Hand-picked, 30% whole-bunch pressed, 70% crushed and destemmed, 70% wildfermented, matured for 11 months in barrel. Rich, round and supple.”
94 pts - Wine Spectator: “Bright and expressive, with a laser beam of focus to the nectarine, melon and apricot flavors that are succulent, fragrant and juicy. A fresh thread of acidity heightens the opulence. The finish goes on and on, leaning into notes of candied ginger.”
92 pts - JamesSuckling.com: “Attractively ripe peach and mango aromas here with a very intense palate that has such attractive style for immediate drinking.”
